Dr. Chris and Mary Domes win SLC's Chili Cookoff

Dr. Chris Domes, President of Silver Lake College, was presented with a traveling trophy for winning the college’s Chili Cookoff.

Those attending were asked to try different types of chili and fixings in blind tastings and to vote for their favorite. Domes’ entry was made from his wife Mary’s recipe for Barbecue Chicken Chili.

“She had a monster season — an absolute monster season,” said Silver Lake College women’s basketball coach Mike Flentje.

Not only did many of Woock’s stats lead the Lakers, but they were among the best in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association.
