College presents ‘Sounds of Christmas at Silver Lake College of the Holy Family’ Dec. 9

MANITOWOC, Wis. — Silver Lake College of the Holy Family invites everyone to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas with its annual Christmas concert. The College is pleased to present the “Sounds of Christmas at Silver Lake College of the Holy Family” on Sunday, Dec. 9 with performances at 3 and 7 p.m. in Bob & Pat Endries Performance Hall inside the Franciscan Center for Music Education and Performance on campus, 2406 S. Alverno Road.

They may be purchased online at sl.edu/tickets, by calling 920-686-6274 or visiting the box office in person located inside the Franciscan Center for Music Education and Performance. The box office is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Patrons are encouraged to purchase their tickets prior to the day of the performance.

The glory of Christmas will come to life live onstage with featured performances by the College’s chorale, concert choir, jazz ensemble, wind ensemble, handbell ensemble and orchestra. Audiences will enjoy familiar carols – including “O Little Town of Bethlehem,” “Silent Night, Holy Night,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and more – and original songs. There will be audience participation pieces as well throughout “Sounds of Christmas.” Treats also will be available for purchase at the event.
