Education honor society initiates new members

MANITOWOC, Wis. — The Upsilon Mu Chapter of the Kappa Delta Pi international honor society in education initiated new student members on Wednesday, April 25 at Silver Lake College of the Holy Family.

The following SLC education students were initiated: Megan Baradic, Brianna Damkot, Alyssa Duckart, Tori Jonet, Karah Larson, Tasha Rabe and Katherine Sohn.Students are eligible to join when they have earned 30 or more credits with a 3.0 or higher GPA. 

Dr. Robert B. Callahan, president of the college, opened the program. Daniel Minter, chair of the department of education, led ceremonies.

In addition to Minter, faculty members belonging to the society include Sister Michaela Melko and Sister Margaret Ann Wallander.
