Business leaders are invited to hear Dan Ariens speak on Wednesday, April 20 at the President’s CEO Breakfast Series, which is presented by Silver Lake College.
Ariens is chairman and CEO of Ariens Company in Brillion. His presentation, titled “Leadership Balance,” will be held at the Franciscan Center for Music Education and Performance, located on the SLC campus at 2406 S. Alverno Road.
Ariens, the great-grandson of company founder Henry Ariens, joined the company in 1983 and became CEO in 1998. Since that time, his leadership has been defined by a set of five core values and 15 management principles that outline management expectations. His core values are: Be Honest, Be Fair, Keep Our Commitments, Respect the Individual, and Encourage Intellectual Curiosity.
In 2012, Ariens was inducted into the Association for Manufacturing Excellence Hall of Fame. He also holds leadership roles in the Wisconsin business community, serving on the board of directors for non-profit economic development groups, including the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation Authority Board, Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce, and Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development-Council on Workforce Investment.
In addition, he holds the position of corporate secretary as a member of the executive committee of the Green Bay Packers board of directors, and he’s on the board of directors for Research Products Corp., Sartori Co. and U.S. Venture, Inc.
The President’s CEO Breakfast Series is an opportunity for business leaders to hear dynamic speakers addressing topics of vital interest, to network and to provide professional development to their executive team members.
Check-in begins at 7:15 a.m., breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m. and the program ends at 8:30 a.m.
