MANITOWOC, Wis. — Louis P. Gentine II, chief executive officer and third-generation owner of Sargento Foods Inc., will speak about “Sargento: Family, Stakeholders & Innovation” as part of the President’s CEO Breakfast Series at Silver Lake College of the Holy Family.

The breakfast program will take place from 7 to 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 2 in the Franciscan Center for Music Education and Performance on campus, 2406 S. Alverno Road.“The President’s CEO Breakfast Series, sponsored by Bank First, is an optimal opportunity for business leaders to connect, network and participate in professional development,” said Libby Spencer, associate director of annual giving and special events. “This year we had an exceptional lineup of speakers and we’re capping it off with none other than Mr. Gentine of Sargento Foods.”

Sargento is a food producer in Plymouth best known for its cheese. Gentine worked outside of the company as a commercial lender at American National Bank in Chicago for three years, following family succession rules.

After completing his Master of Business Administration at Loyola University in Chicago, he returned to Sargento, gaining additional experience with management roles in marketing, production and procurement.

Following several promotions, Gentine assumed the position of chief executive officer in October 2013.

“As Sargento continues to expand, Mr. Gentine will provide valuable insight that attendees can relate to and take back to their own companies,” Spencer said. “It’s refreshing to see business leaders throughout the area take the time to come together and learn. They are committed to not only seeing that their businesses succeed, but that the entire community succeeds.”

Tickets to the breakfast program are $30 and can be purchased by calling 920-686-6274 or visiting sl.edu/tickets.
