Silver Lake College announces student-athlete award winners

MANITOWOC - Silver Lake College recently announced that the following student-athletes received awards for the fall 2015 season. 

SOCCER

Most Valuable Player: Freshman Joel Mejia of Miami.

Captains Awards: Junior Amanda Kudick of Kewaunee, senior Chris Jason of Kenosha and senior Wesley Dowell of Ekron, Ky.

Coach's Award: Senior Wesley Dowell of Ekron, Ky.

Most Improved Player: Freshman Allan Jaeger of Casco.

Dedication Award: Senior Chris Jason of Kenosha.

12th Player Award: Freshman Kendra Schultz of Two Rivers.

Manager Award: Sophomore Dawn Welling of Menasha.

CROSS COUNTRY

Most Outstanding Runner: Freshman Matalie Koss of Manitowoc.

Most Improved Runner: Freshman Elijah Stonebraker of Manitowoc.

Team Spirit Award: Freshman Ashley Joosten of Wisconsin Rapids.

VOLLEYBALL

Most Valuable Player: Senior Kaela Cheesman of Rolla, Mo.

Most Improved Player: Sophomore Casey Bingmon of Milwaukee.

Team Spirit Award: Sophomore Danielle Byrum of Sheboygan.

GOLF
