SLC Hosting CEO Breakfast Series

UNDERGRAD_Mark-SkogenSilver Lake College announced the schedule of speakers for its inaugural 2014-2015 President’s CEO Breakfast Series.

The series, sponsored by Bank First National, will be held in Ariens Atrium at the Franciscan Center for Music Education and Performance, located on campus at 2406 S. Alverno Road.

The first speaker, on Oct. 29, is Mark Skogen, who’ll present “How Customer Service Sets Festival Foods Apart.” Skogen is the president and CEO of Festival Foods. Earlier this year, he was named Grocer of the Year by the Wisconsin Grocers Association.

The second speaker, on Nov. 19, is Christine Loose, who’ll present “Delivering Outrageous Five-Star Service to Drive Profitability.” Loose is the Director of Hotels for The American Club and Inn at Woodlake in Kohler.


The third speaker, on April 1, is Alonzo Kelly, who’ll present “Who’s Next? Effective Succession Strategies for Tomorrow’s Leaders.” Kelly is the CEO of Kelly Leadership Group and Director of Graduate Business at Silver Lake College.

Dr. Chris E. Domes, President of Silver Lake College, said he’s looking forward to the series.

“One of my goals … is to bring together community and business leaders with opportunities to learn and share,” he said. “With this objective in mind, we are pleased to present the President’s CEO Breakfast Series. We have an outstanding lineup for our inaugural year. Our presenters are exemplary leaders in their fields and will offer invaluable insights and lessons that will be applicable to your own business.

“In addition, this is a terrific way to network with your colleagues in northeast Wisconsin and provide professional development to your own staff members.”

Check-in for each event starts at 7:15 a.m. Breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m., and the program ends at 8:30 a.m. The cost is $30 per person for each session, or $75 per person for the entire series.
