SLC presents ‘Tunes to Love’ concert on Feb. 9

MANITOWOC, Wis. — Silver Lake College will present the concert, “Tunes to Love,” at 7 p.m. on Feb. 9 in the Franciscan Center for Music Education and Performance on campus, 2406 S. Alverno Road. It is free and open to the public.

The concert will feature students of the vocal and piano studios as well as the Silver Lake Jazz Ensemble, conducted by Dr. Ron Rivero.

Vocal and piano students will include Kevin Sievert, Jeffrey Erdman, Theresa Nier, Emily Cattani, Katie Sohn, Benjamin Karnitz, Theresa Nier, Beverly Mark, Dawn Welling, Noah Liermann, Lydia Matthews and Tyler Jensen.

The jazz ensemble will perform “Misty,” “What I did for Love,” “Through the Eyes of Love” and “Autumn Leaves.” Performers include Benjamin Johnston, Katherine Sohn, Katie Sohn, Dr. Ron Rivero, Dr. Drew Whitting, Ben Karnitz, Tyler Burk, Ian Waldron, Will Elliott, Jonathan McConnell, Ambrose Wiering, Hanna Stolper, Noah Liermann, Andrew Bins and Michael Stearns.
