SLC presents voice recital on Oct. 17

MANITOWOC, Wis. — Silver Lake College will present a Voice Studio Recital at 7 p.m. on Oct. 17 in the Franciscan Center for Music Education and Performance on campus, 2406 S. Alverno Road.

The concert, featuring works from composers including George Frideric Handel and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, is free and open to the public.

The recital will feature students from the voice studios of music faculty members Emily Davis and Jonathan Kim.

dStudents include Tyler Jensen, tenor, a music major; Ashley Reif, soprano, a music performance and pedagogy major; Benjamin Karnitz, tenor, a music performance and pedagogy major; Grace Simono, soprano, a Roncalli High School student; Young Moua, tenor, a music major; Ashli Mims, soprano, a theology major; Emily Cattani, soprano, a music major; Jeffrey Erdman, baritone, a music education-choral major.

Also Meg Lehman, soprano, a music performance and pedagogy major; Noah Liermann, baritone, a music performance and pedagogy major; Katherine Sohn, soprano, a music education-Kodály/general major; Bradley Fahley, baritone, music performance and pedagogy; Theresa Nier, soprano, a music pedagogy and performance major; and Christopher Ducasse, baritone, a music education-choral major.
