SLC students Sievert, Guy compete in Miroslav Pansky Memorial Concerto event

Silver Lake College student Kevin Sievert won second place in the College Division at the Civic Symphony of Green Bay’s Miroslav Pansky Memorial Concerto Competition on Saturday.

Sievert, who performed “Dalla sua pace” from Mozart’s “Don Giovanni,” won a $250 scholarship and will be acknowledged at the symphony’s final performance on Feb. 21.

Fellow Silver Lake College student Christopher Guy also competed, performing “Il mio tesoro” from Mozart’s “Don Giovanni.”

Sievert and Guy are students of Rachel Ware Carlton, Silver Lake College’s Interim Director of Graduate Music and Assistant Professor of Voice.
