SLC student Kaye Solander welcomes people to the campus chapel in creative, artistic way

MANITOWOC, Wis. — One Silver Lake College sophomore had a clever idea to draw attention to the campus chapel.

Kaye Solander of Stephenson, Michigan, created three colorful, six-foot-tall murals mounted on wooden boards, which she placed near the chapel’s south door.

MANITOWOC , Wis. — Renowned international cybersecurity and fraud-prevention expert Frank Abagnale — whose early life as a con man was the subject of Steven Spielberg’s 2002 movie, “Catch Me If You Can,” starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks — will kick off Silver Lake College’s fourth President’s CEO Breakfast Series starting at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 4.
